Zaragoza is a wonderful city, an undiscovered gem.
Zaragoza is a wonderful city, an undiscovered gem. I have been several times before so maybe I am biased, but the history of the city is fantastic to discover, the food a delight, the small tapas places a joy to visit. A great place to socialise. It has got a little more expensive over the years but where hasn't.

Zaragoza is a clean and safe city full of history, great...
Zaragoza is a clean and safe city full of history, great restaurants, and cafés and easy transportation. We have been to much of Spain but didn't really know anything about Zaragoza. We booked it on a whim. While fairly close to Madrid I think that it is off the beaten path of English speaking people. We encountered the Spanish language almost exclusively but we had zero problems communicating with the lovely people that we encountered. We adored this beautiful place.

20 minutes from the city center.
20 minutes from the city center. On the face of the hotel it was not appealing, however the interior was clean and pleasant, the staff helpful and polite with the Spanish restaurant a bonus.
Would definitely stay again and for longer

Ancient city with some spectacular architecture.
Ancient city with some spectacular architecture. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Walkable and seemed safe. The Palacio de la Aljafería is a spectacular Mujedar style castle, well worth a visit. Plan on a lot of businesses closing in the afternoon and re-opening in the evening. I would have stayed a little longer to see more of the Roman ruins which are in different places in the old city, but it was a pleasnt one-day stop.

Zaragoza is a great City to visit.
Zaragoza is a great City to visit.
Two days are enough to see all.
If you are staying longer, consider hiring a car and undertaking a day trip north to Alquezar for one day and south to the 'Monasterio de Piedra' on another.

Lovely Islamic-era palace, though probably not as impressive...
Lovely Islamic-era palace, though probably not as impressive as those further south, which I've yet to visit. Interesting Roman ruins. Views of old Zaragotha are great if you cross the bridge to the more modern half of the city.
Not too touristy; some good and reasonably-priced cafes and restaurants and mouth-watering food market.
Running out of things to do after than 2-3 days - though it's not a bad place to sit in a square and read.
I love Hotel Sauce: I will always stay there when in Zaragoza from now on. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The location is perfect: everything I wanted to do was within a short walk. The cafe/patisserie was excellent. I miss it already.
I especially want to thank the hotel staff for helping me when I became ill (I got a stomach virus on the plane). They made sure I had everything I needed to get better, made extending my stay to heal exceptionally easy, and even helped me get medical attention when I needed it.
The property is designed for business travelers heading to Zaragoza by train. If that's your purpose for the visit then this property will suit you fine. We were just staying overnight in Zaragoza and so we chose this hotel for convenience. However there wasn't many food options in around the train station and so one has to venture out to find food. It boasts huge rooms and super comfortable beds, but the bathroom amenities are showing its age and we had no luck connecting to the hotel's Wi-Fi.
Hotel location is fantastic! It was great looking at the wonderful Zaragoza Plaza Der Pilar and to the gorgeous cathedrals from the windows (of our room). We walked everywhere and we also wre able to park our car at the hotel parking lot. It is very hard to find a hotel with parking facility (not public but private hotel parking). Hotel breakfast was really good with many options on the buffet.
Facilities in the room /suite were superb, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern had both luxurious bath, shower and bath towels, decent toiletries, twin basins plus radio and speakers! Great location, easy to find. Didn't eat breakfast or use restaurant. Added to the list of stop over hotels through that region of Spain.
This was by far the best rental apartment I stayed in on my trip to Spain (we stayed in five different places). The apartment and the view are just amazing. The owner was willing to do anything to accommodate our needs. Zaragoza is such a beautiful city, and our stay in this apartment made everything better.
We have stayed in this hotel previously and find it is a good transition hotel whilst driving to other regions of Spain. We had an excellent breakfast and good evening meal. The room facilities were very large and comfortable and the staff were excellent.
the aparthotel has a lot of facilities including gym and spa. it is also located in the centre of Zaragoza. The staff are also helpful and was able to communicate with us in english. The aparthotel we got has a lot of space and made our stay comfortable.
Our first visit to Zaragoza and this Hotel was chosen for easy access. We had an excellent 4th Floor Room with a fantastic view, the bed was comfortable and the Wi-fi worked well. The breakfast, which included a cooked option set us up for the day.
well above our expectations.tea and coffee in bedroom, huge
e room 40sqm,great breakfast if you are just travelling north to south in spain a great budget hotel. we parked on the street no problem, great helpfull staff.will stay again. great wifi
Room was amazing, the staff were super friendly/helpful and the location was ideal for exploring Zaragoza. The parking was in a public lot a couple blocks from the hotel but they have a deal for cheaper parking than the listed rate
One of the best hotels I’ve already stayed in Spain. Everything was perfect. Contemporary interior design, location, staff and breakfast are the the highest points to highlight. I would definitely stay in the same place again.
Handy underground parking and very friendly staff. Receptionist went and found us a couple of coffees as everything was closed when we arrived. Comfortable stay for a night as we were heading north from the south of Spain.
We stay here at least twice a year...The staff are always helpful and cheerful despite being very busy and sometimes short staffed ..We are very happy to have found this accommodation on our way to southern Spain ..
The breakfast was wonderful! The location cannot be beat, walking distance to all the city sights. The hotel was also very tastefully and comfortably decorated. I would stay here again if I return to Zaragoza.
Very handy location when needing a break travelling from North to South East Spain. Last time we booked a place n the middle of Zaragoza and navigating and parking a big SUV was not fun.
