I loved everything!
The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They have loads of knowledge about the area and, make a great breakfast with a lot of options!
The room was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfy! I slept like a baby each night and felt right at home.
I am looking forward to visiting again!

The older part of Kings Lynn down by the river is well worth a visit. Its full of historic buildings and alleyways. Fooderies are plentiful and offer varied cuisines. Particularly good is the ‘Tipsy Teapot’ with its Tex-Mex style menu. Prices are reasonable.
Regrettably it rained for most of our stay which meant we were unable to visit some of the places we wanted to. Not Kings Lynn's fault. We’ll be back!

Kings Lynn is a town of 2 halves.
Kings Lynn is a town of 2 halves. The modern commercial part is in a sad state at the moment, with the closue of so many shops in recent years, including the huge Debenhams. Regeneration plans are in hand but may take years to be completed.
Look past this though and the old part of town is a medieval gem! If you love history and architecture then you're in for a pleasant surprise. There are 3 museums telling the story of the town (all with very modest admission prices), and you can wander at leisure down streets full of half-rimberd 14th and 15th century dwellings, some with later Georgian frontages. There is also the iconic 17th century Custom House which is worth a quick visit.
When you're done with all that there are plenty of lovely cafes for a spot of lunch - try The Filling Station or Norfolk Bakery for delicious homemade cakes.

Kings Lynn has a poor reputation but we were blown away by the quite extensive historic quarter. Absolutely stunning with so many beautiful old buildings and a rich maritime history. The Hansa house next to the Minster has been faithfully preserved and contains an atmospheric tea room. While it's definitely possible to do old Kings Lynn in a day I would recommend taking a bit more time to really absorb the many things that attract attention as you wander round. A wander round the Walks is also recommended - lovely green space in the centre of town with several historic buildings. All in all, Lynn was a very pleasant surprise.

We were able to walk along the river front and visit the town centre. We visited Trues Yard Fisherfolk museum which was really interesting. Every street in old town had interesting architecture and historic features.

A great place to explore on foot with the beautiful Minster right in the centre, and exceptionally clean pedestrian-friendly streets. Huntstanton, with its gorgeous beaches, is only an hour away by bus. Food options are more limited than you'd get in a big city, but the places we tried (Mem's Kitchen, Bank House) were all very good.

Huge amount of history packed into a small area, easily covered on foot. Beautiful waterfront, old buildings, well signposted. Excellent museums three, and all very different. Plenty of good eating places. Cobbles teashop a delight. Plenty of parking in town centre. Good selection of shops on high street. Very good bus services to surrounding areas.
Our room was beautiful, looked recently redecorated in a 'boutique style', large bathroom with separate shower cubicle, lovely neutral colours throughout. The staff were excellent - personable and welcoming. We extended our stay and they ensured that we could remain in the same room which was helpful. There were bottles of water in the room which is a nice touch as I have to take medication. The hotel is in a great location on the market square, easy walking to both the bus and rail stations and right beside the theatre/cinema.
Friendly staff. The 3 bed lodge we stayed in was beautiful and the lodge we stayed in had a ensuite bathroom for the master room, it was spacious and spotless. They have fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine&dryer, oven, microwave, crockery, utensils. Close to town centre and amenities around 10 mins drive. Very cosy and relaxing environment. There were a big group of us that stayed in 3 lodges and we all had a great time. Thank you Kings Lynn!
Good selection of cooked options, and well cooked too. Little choice in cold options , more would have been appreciated especially in the fruit and cereal line. The porridge was excellent. So was the coffee. The location of the hotel was very good too...couldn't have been better, for being able to appreciate and enjoy what Kings Lynn has to offer, especially on the historical side.
I had a very comfortable stay in St Mary's Lodge, very clean and comfortable, much better than staying in a hotel.
The host were very friendly and helpful and the best part was the amazing breakfast, I would defiantly come back again when visiting Kings Lynn area.
Host was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Location within easy reach of the town centre and adjacent to a very pleasant park. The room was cleaned daily and the onsite parking proved very convenient.
My wife and I had a very pleasant surprise at the Lodge in Kings Lynn from the moment we arrived till when we left.
the room was nicely decorated and furnished with nice little touches and the breakfast was wonderful.
Hotel bit of the Globe is very nice. Pub area is a typical ''Spoons'! It is very good value for money however - as is the hotel. The location is ideal and very handy for both shops and the historic area of King's Lynn.
Possibly the best B&B in Kings Lynn. It is always a pleasure to stay here. Hosts are lovely and very helpful. Lovely rooms and great breakfast. The flasks of fresh milk are brilliant idea. Perfect in every way.
Nice, spacious and quiet twin room with coffee and tea-making amenities (and Netflix). Host was very responsive and accommodating. Location close to train station and a very short walk from Kings Lynn's centre.
Great little pods, well equipped with TV, microwave fridge and kettle. Clean, comfortable and in a nice location a short drive from the centre of Kings Lynn.
Location and spacious layout. Easy to find and comfortable bed and sofas. The flat was handy for the centre of Kings Lynn and there was easy parking nearby.
I did not have any meals at the property, but the staff had the courtesy of asking and offering me meals. The location was ideal for my work in Kings Lynn.
